Saitama City has public sports facilities suitable for diverse needs. It has proven experience in hosting athletes and participants in various international sports events and in arranging accommodation facilities for them.
Training facilities
This facility has hosted various international competitions, such as the qualifying round of the 2015 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix and the 4th Open Indiaca World Cup.
This is a facility used for soccer matches in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Even today, soccer official games are being held at this stadium. The maximum number of seats is about 15,600.
This is an authorized athletics stadium as Category 3 by JAAF (Japan Association of Athletics Federations). This is one of the facilities used for soccer matches in the National Sports Festival in 1967, and even now the Nadeshiko League Cup is being held. The maximum number of seats is 21,500.。
This facility is available for various events, ranging from martial arts such as judo and karate, to volleyball, badminton, and so on.
One of the rubber baseball stadiums used in the 2004 National Sports Festival (may be also used for baseball games). This facility has a 95m wing on both sides and a 122m center distance, and its seating capacity is 3,337.
